Liz & Martin ostensibly run Spalding Folk Club, but in effect they create a community. I had managed to leave my phone in their house when I was leaving after a gig, and while we were waiting for Martin to find my phone, Liz talked about her first guitar, and that frames this otherwise fairly bleak piece of reportage about trying to find a decent pub in Spalding, welcome, community, in most places in Anytown nowadays
