I did have a vivid memory of walking out of school at the end of summer when I was 7 years old thinking that summer was going to last forever. I am never very good with change, & was probably hoping if I thought hard enough, I'd never have to go to the Juniors. This was written to add a song into the narrative of the "Gentle Men" song suite, to slow down the passage of time and to delay the bit about the deaths of my grandfathers.
