we are now into "The Second XI". This was a very limited cassette release of songs that were written about the same time as the songs on the "Big Wheel" CD but really didn't fit into the mood of the album.
This one is a good place to start...nicely sardonic, bleakly ironic, & the crackles you can clearly hear at the start is proof that the industry's promotion of CDs & digital technology as guarantors of immortal indestructability was a fib.
